A second source is claiming that Werner Herzog's "Bad Lieutenant" with Nicolas Cage will bow at Teluride. Film-o-filia is reporting that this morning...which makes me think that I have been too hasty to write it off...

Will Nic Cage be in Telluride?

Werner is a Telluride mainstay so that would make me think it will show up there. However it may not actually be one of the main films featured. I could be wrong but I would guess a one time midnight or late screening at one of the larger venues would be appropriate.
Or possibly a TBA screening.
The first Bad Lieutenant played in Telluride back in 1992 when Harvey Keitel received a tribute. Also a little film called Reservoir Dogs and another called El Mariachi played.
