Good Monday morning.
MORE CANNES SPECULATION
The Cannes 66 guessing game continues with a very extensive post from the folks at The Playlist going up earlier this week that offers their best insights into the films that could play in France in May consequently providing us with a window to view potential Telluride players. You can find that post here:

Among the lists I found these titles that I'd think might have the best chance at the Cannes/Telluride double play:
On their "Strong Contenders" list: "Lowlife", "The Past","Twelve Years a Slave" and "The Congress".
On their "Possibilities" list: "Blood Ties".
And no film on their "Long Shot" list appears to be particularly Telluride-y...at least for now.
"GINGER AND ROSA" EMERGING
As Sally Potter's "Ginger and Rosa" has been on the brink of release this last week it and its film makers and cast have been increasingly on display. Here I have included a couple of posts about the film. First from "Women and Hollywood" an interview with Potter from the Toronto Festival last fall:

And also from The Hollywood Reporter a profile of the film's star Elle Fanning:

"Ginger and Rosa" opened in limited release this past weekend.
