Thanks to an eagle-eyed reader (shout out Chris Schneider) I can tell you that the rumored and expected five days for TFF #50 has been confirmed by the festival's official website:



The website also confirms that passes will go on sale on March 1st. so make plans accordingly.


MALTIN'S  BILL PENCE REMEMBRANCE




Long time Telluride fixture Leonard Maltin penned a tribute to the late Bill Pence at his website which I have linked here.

Maltin wrote in part:

"It was difficult to learn that Bill’s health was fading in recent months. He was a hearty soul, buoyed by confidence and an unquenchable passion for films—and his family. That extended family grew to include many people who dedicated themselves to the Telluride Film Festival because of his and Stella’s leadership. Alice, Jessie and I couldn’t be more thankful."
