BAFTA NOMINATIONS AND TFF
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced their nominees for film excellence this morning. Seven TFF films earned a total of 19 nominations with Todd Field's TAR leading the wat for films from The SHOW with five nominations. Here's the listing:
TAR (5): Best Film, Direction/Field, Actress/Blanchett, Original Screenplay and Sound.
Living (4): Best British Film, Actor/Nighy, Adapted Screenplay and Rising Star/Wood.
Aftersun (4): Best British Film, Debut/Wells, Actor/Mescal and Casting.
Empire of Light (3): Best British Film, Best Supporting Actor/Ward and Cinematography.
The Wonder (1): Best British Film
All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (1): Best Documentary
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (1): Best Animated Film
Edward Bergers' All Quiet on the Western Front earned the most nominations of any film with 14.
