Jake Howell at Movie City News takes a fairly in depth look at two Cannes competition contenders.  Walter Salles "On the Road" (TFF #39 chances 50%) and Ken Loach's "The Angel's Share" (TFF #39 chances 30%).

We have a trailer for Ben Affleck's "Argo" that looks very interesting.  It's chances for Telluride are virtually non-existent.  But I thought I' get you to the trailer via Hit Fix:

And it's not even a film...really...but looks soooo cool.  We'll have the opportunity, if we're in a city that it runs in, to see a filmed version of the Danny Boyle (Telluride fave with "Slumdog Millionaire" and "127 Hours") directed stage version of Frankenstein.  The Playlist links to the commercial teaser:
