LA LA LAND LANDS A FINAL TRAILER AND MORE
Damien Chazelle 's La La Land released its final pre--theatrical release trailer this past week. It's gorgeous and stunning and for those of us who caught the film at TFF #43 (or Toronto or other fests) tremendously evocative of the experience of having seen the film. The trailer does what I want, which is to make me want to catch it again. Here it is via YouTube:
As you might expect, I have included press coverage from a number of sources of the final trailer's release. La La Land opens in limited fashion on Dec. 2 and goes into wider release on Dec. 9.
Here's coverage from:
As well as this story from The Hollywood Reporter about the journey of La La Land from its inception to its realization from THR's Rebecca Ford.

Additionally, here's the THR post that focuses on Damon specifically.
THE NYT AND MOONLIGHT
And the final story this Monday is to pass along the link to The New York Times podcast from Wesley Morris and Jenna Wortham as they deep dice on Barry Jenkins fantastic Moonlight (which I have publicly declared to be "perfect".
Check the story and the podcast here.
That's a wrap for this Monday. Come back for more on Thursday!
