Good Morning a week after Thanksgiving...still digesting. Today's entry will be bifurcated with this morning's post somewhat truncated so that I can do another post later today following the unveiling of the National Board of Review's choices for Best Picture, 10 Best Films and acting and directing kudos...So I'm in two parts today...
PART ONE
NBR TODAY
The National Board of Review announcement will come later today and I'll have that info posted later along with trying to read whatever tea leaves that creates. I also expect to Tweet the announcement live do check that at twitter.com @Gort2.
SHAME: HOT AND HEAVY
I'd be stunned if this film gets on the NBR list...as it should. But that doesn't mean that Fox Searchlight, writer/director Steve McQueen and stars Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan don't continue to be virtually everywhere promoting the work. Here's todays' sample:
Mulligan interviews with:

Fassbender with HitFix: http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/awards-campaign/posts/michael-fassbender-on-facing-fear-in-shame-and-a-dangerous-method
and also with HollywoodNews.com: http://www.hollywoodnews.com/2011/11/28/oscars-steve-mcqueen-opens-up-about-internet-sex-the-nc-17-rating-and-the-power-of-shame-awards-alley/
