Comments: Slight change in Supporting Actor as Edward Norton ( A Complete Unknown) enters my top five for the first time. Conclave and Brutalist flip flop at the #1 and #2 spots in Original Score. A Complete Unknown moves up a spot in Best Sound.
BAFTA LONGLISTS AND TFF
The British Association of Film and Television Arts announced their longlists for all of their film categories for 2024 on Friday. The step is the pass through for any actual BAFTA nomination. 18 TFF films were mentioned in at least one category with TFF #51 films pulling a collective 66 mentions. Emilia Perez and Conclave leading all films with 15 and 14 mentions respectively. All told TFF films earned Here's the film by film breakdown of BAFTA longlist mentions:

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF FILM CRITICS AND TFF
The National Society of Film Critics announced their awards for 2024 on Saturday and, as expected, TFF films fared well. TFF #51 films earned "Best of" status in these categories:
Picture: Nickel Boys.
Direction; Payal Kapadia for All We Imagine as Light.
Supporting Actor: Kieran Culkin/A Real Pain.
Screenplay: Jesse Eisenberg/A Real Pain.
Film Not in the English Language: All We Imagine as Light.
Non-fiction Film: No Other Land.
Cinematography: Nickel Boys.
Other films/performers landed in runners-up spots. The categories and runner-up status:
