BREAKING: NATIONAL SOCIETY OF FILM CRITICS LOVES LLEWYN

BREAKING:

The National Society of Film Critics handed The Coen Brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" a number of their awards yesterday.  The critical recognition comes in the wake of a week in which the film was not recognized by either The Producers Guild nor The Writers Guild nominations.

The Directors Guild announces their nominees on Tuesday.  That's the next major announcement could provide both a window to probable Oscar nominees and, perhaps, the last big push P.R. wise for films before voting for Oscar nominations ends.  Nominations will be announced the morning of Jan. 16.  Here are the awards announced by The NSFC yesterday and a link to analysis from HitFix/InContention and Awards Daily.
